Loved this story.  I love to read and I received this book for free from bookbub.com.  Screenplay is about a young actress Harper Gray.  Harper is facing a low point in her life.  Her boyfriend leaves her, she has been an out of work actress and her money has dried up.  Our character finds herself in New York playing a stand in for the star of the show.  When things take a turn and she finds herself leading in different directions.  See how Harper Gray handles the bumps in her road, and how her relationship with God grows.  You will not be able to put this book down.

The Designer Bag at the Garbage Dump by: Jackie McGirvin

I received this book for free from BookBub.com. I chose it because I liked the title. The books begin with a typical well to do woman and she has the perfect life. Enough money, a husband who loves her and a wonderful son. Not to mention a beautiful home but this is still not enough. She longs for her fathers approval and she feels that she is not perfect. Well she is a buyer for a store where she lives and she has to go to New York. When she arrives to the train station our lead Character Julie begins her journey meeting Jesus on the train, and her trip has taken a sudden detour to India where she learns to trust and rely more on God than her money. I loved the book their where some corny parts, but the book over all was enjoyable, and actually thought provoking. I reccommend that you pick up The Designer Bag at the Garbage Dump and make this one your reads. Thank you BookBub.com for a great book.

Humphrey was here by: Mark J. Asher

I love dogs and I had recently lost my dog too.  So I picked up the book with compassion and understanding.  The books begin about a man and his close companion Humphrey's.  As his owner describes him I could see what a wonder dog Humphrey's is.  Then the story gets sad.  His owner describes that terrible event when Humphrey passes away.  As I read on the character Mark Asher remind the reader how people discard their animals like yesterday's fashion.  Very sad, but then the book took a turn for the worse.  As Humphrey's owner is recovering from his loss he begins to volunteer.  But then he starts to think maybe he should get a dog and this is when I didn't like the book anymore he plays on the affection of the dogs. He takes a dog home and then decides he is not ready.  He does this about three more times.  I forced myself to read on in hopes that he gets a dog, but he does not.  I was disappointed and annoyed with the book.  I got this book for free from bookbub.com.  Glad I didn't spend my money on this one.

Southern Fried Sushi: by Jennifer Rogers Spinola

I picked the book because I found the title interesting and boy I was not disappointed.  The main character is a reporter and lives in Japan Shiloh P. Jacobson and like most young people she is living for today, and running from her past.  I love how the author brought Japan to life for the reader.  It was like being there.  Well in the story Shiloh receives a call from her half sister and has to go back the US and she finds herself in Virginia.  Follow Shiloh on her journey to finding friendship, forgiveness, grace and a new beginning.  Southern Fried Sushi had me laughing, crying, and I could not put it down.  Pick up this book it is not your typical chick book.  I received this book for free from BookBub.com.
