Child 44 by: Tom Rob Smith

Amazing book!! As I began reading this book I was introduced to a series of small little stories. Little did I know that they would be part of a bigger picture. The story takes place in Russia. The story is about a MGB agent Leo and how his life is turned upside down. Everything he believed in is pulled out from under him. Without giving the book away Leo begins his journey to finding meaning. I loved how every page is filled with suspense and paranoia. Every event only leads to a new challenge and you just can't help but wonder if Leo would be able to overcome every obstacle that he must face. I loved this book so much that I finished this book in three days. I just could not put the book down, and I just could not stop talking about this book. As I began telling someone about Child 44 she happened to share with me that this book is a trilogy and they are making a movie. I was thrilled. I am going to be picking up the other two books.
