Skinny Italian by: Teresa Giudice

The title made me actually buy the book. I love Carbs and Italian Food is Carbs. I do not have a television so when the author said she was on the Housewives of New Jersey I did not know what she was talking about. So you can say I did not pick up the book, because of that. It was a cute book. I actually learned some things from the book. She explains real Italian Food, and American version of Italian Food. Like Olive Oil,Butter,Sauteed,Pasta in part of dish,Vegetables,Fresh Italian Cheese,Vegetable Bases Sauces,Sugar in Desert only,Clear Salad Dressing, and Thin Crispy Bread. I loved the book after reading this. The author also talks about sitting at a table not eating on the go. Making your own sauce and the recipe is on my next item to cook list. This book is loaded with authentic Italian Cooking and I am actually going to keep this one on my go to shelf when I have a craving for Italian the healthy and real way. I thought the book was cute, but it is also loaded with real ingredients and real good recipes. I did like a tip from the author she said " don't look at fashion magazines, create your own style and wear what you like". I this book is worth the read and experimenting with Italian Cuisine. "mangia".

The Belly Fat Diet Cookbook by: John Chatham

I am like the millions of women out there looking for the right diet. I have been on a quest searching the books for the right diet that I can adapt to. I do like this one. I gain weight in my middle so I figured hey it is called belly fat diet and I sure have enough of that. Why not read it and if I like it maybe I will start the plan. I read it and I found out that this diet is doable. It begins explaining what the diet is all about, and also tells you the reader that you need to sleep. I figured simple I can do that. Then it explains that we need to drink vitamin C. Eat vegetables, fruit, nuts and healthy oils this is a simple diet and anyone can do it. There are cheat days, and you can have desert. I loved the diet, and I have not even started yet. I did try some of the recipes. I love to snack so I tried the Mini Lettuce Wraps and I loved them. I am not fond of tomatoes so I just eliminated them. I was not missing out on the nutrients, because the recipe is loaded with veggies. I also tried the desert recipes I love sweet so that is what I go to first. The Cocoa and Coconut Banana Slices where good. I also loved the Thumbprint Cookies. I figure The Belly Fat Diet Cookbook gave me alternatives to beginning my way to a healthy way of living. I received this book for free from BookBub.com. I hope you enjoy the recipes I know I am.

Hollywood Nobody by: Lisa Samson

Hollywood Nobody by: Lisa Samson When I saw the cover I thought why not get the book. I received this book for free from ChristianBook.com. I love to read and sometimes I like to get a simple read that has no deep meaning or serious study. This book was a delight to read. I have Tween Nieces and yes they love to read also. I share cute books that I pick up for free and this is one I am seriously going to share with them. Hollywood Nobody is about a young teen Scotty who writes a blog, and lives in a trailer known as the Y. It is a cute story she is not your typical teen. She is self taught and has an adventurous life. Her mom is a food stylist and travels around the United States on movie shoots. So Scotty gets to meet all kinds of different people, and celebrities. I really enjoyed this book. It took me some time to read. Not because the book was boring, but because I was very busy. I am actually going to pick up the other book. I found out it is a Trilogy. It is worth a read, and I am actually going to purchase the other two books. Thank you Christianbooks.com for the great book.
