Rain Dance
Rain Dance is a special kind of book. It speaks about a very controversial topic Abortion. I know when I first started to read the book I anticipated a in your face how abortion is killing life and God say's thou shall not kill and all the other stereo typical pro-life arguments. Rain Dance is not that kind of book. It is a story about two young women named Staci, and Jonica. Jonica is a believer and she is desperately trying her hardest to get pregnant, but unfortunately she has not been able to have children. Staci is a young career girl who has everything, but gets pregnant. Well Staci and Jonica's path cross and the story begins. This book speaks about abortion and how not only does a child dies, this one act has many victims. The woman who aborted her baby, to the husband, and family members. On the other hand not being able to have children is also another heart break. Their are many people involved that also suffer. This books shares Jonica's journey of acceptance, and Staci's journey of healing from an abortion. See how two women become best friends to even witnessing when God reveals Himself. It is a wonderful book. It has made the list of one of my favorite books. I loved the testimony of Jonica and how she shares the Word to people. She gives people books. This is one thing that I think I will begin to do. Thank you. I received this book for free from Bookbub.com
Thunder Dog: The True Story of a Blind Man, His Guide Dog, and the Triumph of Trust by: Michael Hingson with Susy Flory

After reading the book I have to get one, and soon. Well enough of that. You might be wondering about the book. The main character is Michael Hingson and of course he is blind, but you see he is not your typical idea in your head blind. Michael Hingson is a very independent man. He travels, he graduated college, and he loves technology. He is like everyone. person does. He shares with the reader his life. He gives us first peak on the challenges and triumphs of being blind. His life is very interesting. His parents treated him like his siblings and wanted no less, but his hardest to get along in this world. He did quiet well for himself. Michael Hingson shares his life when he is young all the way to the event of 9/11. As he is experiencing this terrible ordeal he draws from his memory of the events he went through. His dog Roselle by his side and working to complete the task and she does. This book is a must read. I enjoyed every page of the book. I received this book for free from Bookbub.com thank you.

Jeremy Camp I Still Believe A Memoir with David Thomas
Jeremy Camp I Still Believe A Memoir with David Thomas was a book I actually purchased. I was going through a rough time spiritually. I did not get a position I thought I should have gotten. I was so disappointed I actually started to question God's love for me. I told God if he really cared for me then why did he not give me that job. Why did God not answer my prayer about anything. I prayed for people to turn back from the things of the world and return to the Lord. I prayed for a long time. God answered those prayers, but He still had not answered the prayers I had before Him concerning my family. I began to think that God wants us to serve others, and just not ask God for anything. I started to wonder if this was any kind of relationship. So one day while I was having my pitty party. I asked God is it all worth it? I went to the book store and I started looking for something. I did not know what I was just looking for a book. Then Jeremy Camp's book fell down from the bookshelves. I kind of was a little spooked because I did not even touch that shelf but yet the book fell down. Well I picked it up and was about to put it back on the shelf where it belonged, but for some reason I read the back cover. The book was about his life and his testimony. I like Jeremy Camp. I enjoy his music so I decided why not get the book.
The book begins with Jeremy Camp talking about his love for God, and how his mother and father came to know the Lord. How his family served God and how they grew up poor, but never needing for nothing. God provided for them. Then Jeremy shares about him straying away in high school. Through his testimony I began to think about my circumstances also. I began to wonder if I was trusting God in everything in my life? Then it gets even more personal Jeremy Camps begins to share about his rededication to the Lord, and his willing to serve God in all things. He shares about his early music career and how God provided the way. Then he share the gut wrenching part of his life. The loss of his wife. I knew he had a wife and she passed away but I never knew the details. The book gives one mans testimony of life. The ups and downs. The blessing and gifts from God, and most of all how God does not ever leave you in the times of darkness. I did not reveal the details of the book in hopes that you pick up this book. Jeremy Camps reminds us that every one has trials. It is just who do we hold on too? Ourselves, other or hang on to God. This book helped me when I was searching for answers. It brought me hope, and reminded me that I am loved by God even if He did not give me what I want. Pick up the book it will help you on your walk with God. God Bless.
