The Call To Work A Biblical Perspective by: Robert H. Erdmann

We as Christians wonder about their work and how God sees it. In the book the author discusses the history of work from The Beginning of Genesis to the Industrial Revolution. the book began slow but then I would come across a chapter that would capture my attention. Such as in chapter 4. In this chapter Jesus speaks about the humility of the lesser one and how we should apply this attitude of humility and all that we do be to Gods glory and not to puff ourselves up. In the end the author touches on our desire to have meaning. God leads us to talents and gifts and as we get older we develop our gifts and use them to bring glory to God. We were created to please God with our talents, and we should be happy with the gifts that God has given. We must remember there is no other like us. So no matter our vocation, or call do it with great joy so that we bring glory to God. I enjoyed this book and I would recommend you add this to your library.

I received this book for free from Netgalley.com
